1993

  • Bouabdellah, Hassen: "Bettina Heinen - Ayech - Letter to Erwin Bowien", Visualis Production, Algiers 1993; the French version is entitled "Bettina Heinen-Ayech - Lettre à Erwin Bowien", in the official selection of the Montreal Festival. The film was regularly broadcast on various channels and was widely distributed as a video.

2010

  • Bayerle, Georg: "The Art of Memory", report about Bettina Heinen-Ayech's first visit after over 70 years in Kreuzthal-Eisenbach between Kempten and Isny, as part of the program "Between Spessart and Karwendel" on TV station BR ( Bavarian radio). Bettina Heinen-Ayech walks in the footsteps of her childhood and reports about the time spent together with her teacher Erwin Bowien, who had found shelter in Kreuzthal and secretly lived here without valid papers.

2011

  • Bayerle, Georg: Radio play: "Mountain idyll in the Allgäu - The Kreuzthal as a refuge, 1944" in the format "Time for Bavaria". Numerous actors interpret Erwin Bowien's war diary, "Les Heures Perdues du Matin", in the manner of radio plays from the 1930s. The radio play was first broadcast on Bavarian radio on December 11, 2011 and will last approximately 53 minutes.
